How it works

No drilling. No screws. No damage.

Perfect fit blinds attach to your window using pressure-fit brackets that slide between the glass and the rubber glazing bead on internally-beaded uPVC frames. The blind sits inside its own aluminium frame, which clips onto those brackets — no fixings into the wall, the reveal, or the window frame itself.

  • Pressure-fit bracket system

Two or more flat brackets are pressed between the glass and rubber glazing bead by thumb — no tools needed. They hold firmly due to the tension of the bead against the glass, not screws.

  • Self-contained aluminium frame

The blind is pre-assembled within a powder-coated aluminium frame. The frame clips directly onto the fitted brackets and can be removed again just as easily — useful for cleaning or moving home.

  • Opens with the window

Because the frame is attached to the window rather than the wall or reveal, the blind pivots with the window when you open it. On tilt-and-turn windows and conservatory doors, this means the blind stays in position — no catching, no dragging, no tangling.

  • Cord-free — no hanging elements

The self-contained frame encases all operating components. There are no exposed cords or chains at any point — making perfect fit blinds one of the safest window covering options available for homes with children and pets.

Best applications

Where perfect fit blinds work best

Perfect fit blinds solve problems that other blind types can't — especially on windows that open, tilt, or are part of a larger glazed structure.

  • Tilt & turn windows

The perfect fit frame clips to the window pane, so when the window tilts or turns, the blind moves with it. No conventional blind can manage this — they'd catch on the opening window or hang awkwardly inward.

  • Conservatories

Conservatory windows are often awkward shapes in tight positions. Perfect fit blinds sit flush against each individual pane — no trailing fabric, no racks of poles, no blinds catching on opening vents. The cellular option adds meaningful insulation on cold days.

  • French & patio doors

A standard blind on a French door will swing with the door and get in the way. A perfect fit blind clips to the glazed panel of the door and opens with it — no obstruction, no trailing fabric, and complete privacy when the doors are closed.

  • Bi-fold doors

One perfect fit blind per glazed panel — each one folds neatly against its own section as the door stacks. No single blind needs to span the full opening width, and the blinds stay tidily in position whether the doors are open or shut.

  • Velux & roof windows

Roof windows are notoriously difficult to blind — the angle means most blinds slide or sag. Perfect fit blinds are bracketed directly to the window frame, so they hold position regardless of angle. Available in blackout for bedrooms under a roof.

  • Rented homes

No drilling means no damage to frames or walls — ideal for rented properties where any permanent alteration to the building fabric would breach the tenancy agreement. The blinds can be removed cleanly when you move out.

Frame colours

Frames colour-matched to your window profiles

The aluminium outer frame comes in six standard colours — all matched to the most common uPVC and aluminium window profiles so the blind looks like part of the window, not an addition to it. (colour varies on blind type)

What our customers say

★★★★★

"We have tilt-and-turn windows throughout and every blind we'd tried before either caught on the frame or just looked wrong when the window was open. The perfect fit blinds sit completely flush and open with the window — finally sorted."

Questions

Perfect fit FAQs

Any other questions? We'll answer everything at your free survey — no pressure and no obligation.

What windows are perfect fit blinds compatible with?

Perfect fit blinds are designed for internally-beaded uPVC and aluminium window frames — the type used in the vast majority of modern UK homes. They work on standard casement windows, tilt-and-turn windows, French doors, patio doors, bi-fold doors, and Velux-style roof windows. They are not suitable for externally-beaded frames, frames sealed with glazing tape rather than beading, or timber frames where the bead depth is outside the 18–24mm range. We'll confirm compatibility at survey.

Do perfect fit blinds work on tilt-and-turn windows?

Yes — this is one of their best applications. Because the blind frame clips to the glazed pane rather than the wall or reveal, it pivots with the window in both tilt and turn modes. The blind stays in position and doesn't catch on the frame when the window opens, which is the problem with every other blind type on tilt-and-turn windows.

Can I remove perfect fit blinds if I move house or redecorate?

Yes. The frame unclips from the brackets, and the brackets pull out from behind the glazing bead without tools. The whole system can be removed in under a minute per window with no marks or damage to the frame. This is why perfect fit blinds are popular in rented properties — they go up and come down cleanly without affecting the window or the building fabric.

Are perfect fit blinds child-safe?

Yes — the self-contained frame encases all operating components. There are no exposed cords or chains at any point in the system. Perfect fit blinds are one of the safest window covering options available and meet current UK child safety regulations in their standard configuration without any additional accessories required.

Can I get a blackout perfect fit blind?

Yes — roller and pleated perfect fit blinds are available in blackout fabrics. However, note that the perfect fit system does not achieve a complete blackout in the way a cassette roller blind can — some light bleed occurs around the perimeter of the frame where it meets the window beading. If total blackout is essential, a deeper cassette blind system should be considered. For bedrooms where 90–95% light block is sufficient, blackout perfect fit blinds work very well.

What frame colours are available?

The aluminium outer frame is available in white, cream, golden oak, mahogany, grey, and anthracite — the six colours that match the most common uPVC and aluminium window profiles in the UK. The frame is colour-coded to sit flush with your existing window colour so the blind looks integral to the window rather than added on.

How do you measure for perfect fit blinds?

Perfect fit blinds require very precise measurements of the glass area — not the window reveal. We take these measurements at your free home survey using a specialist measuring guide to ensure accuracy to the millimetre. Because the bracket fits between glass and bead with very little tolerance, even a few millimetres of error in the measurement would cause the frame to be loose or not fit at all. This is why professional measuring is strongly recommended over self-measuring for this product.

How much do made-to-measure perfect fit blinds cost?

Perfect fit blinds are priced per window, based on the glass dimensions and the blind type chosen. Roller and pleated options are generally the most affordable; cellular is the most expensive due to the fabric construction. Frame colour does not affect the price. We give a fixed price at your free survey with no obligation to proceed — the quote is valid for 30 days.
